Cách dùng

  • Không the more harder (kép). The more + adj dài; the adj-er với tính từ ngắn.

Cách dùng

  • He is not so much a teacher as a mentor. (không hẳn là… mà là…).
  • No more … than = cũng không hơn (thường nghĩa phủ định cả hai): He is no more a poet than I am.
  • Twice as expensive as; three times as many books as (many + N). SAI twice more than (nên twice as … as).
  • Superior / inferior / senior / junior / prior + to (không than).

Tip chuyên / bẫy đề

  • Not so much angry as disappointed ≠ not so angry as (so sánh mức giận).
  • As many as vs as much as: many đếm được, much không đếm được.
